Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love is the
Grammy Nominated tenth studio album by country singer
Trisha
Yearwood. It is also her first release for the Big
Machine Records label after nine albums on MCA Nashville.
Recording for Yearwood's album began in 2006 and ended in
2007.[citation needed] The
first single was released from the album in September 2007,
"Heaven, Heartache
and the Power of Love", a #19 hit on the Billboard country music charts;
"This Is Me You're Talking To"
and "They Call It Falling for a Reason" were released as the second
and third singles, respectively. The album debuted at number 30 on
the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling about 33,000
copies in its first week.[2] The album also debuted
at #10 on the U.S. Top Country Albums
chart that same week. As of March 2009, the album has sold 177,347
copies in the US.
"Not a Bad Thing" was previously recorded by Terri Clark on her
2003 album Pain to Kill.
